With only 73 rooms and a premium location, the carathotel Düsseldorf at Carlsplatz square manages to keep up with the competition despite a fast-changing market environment. Although the number of hotel rooms in Düsseldorf continues to increase at an above-average rate, our hotel has led the ranking of its peers in terms of KPI for several consecutive years.
Success stories
Due to its outstanding location, this treasure of a hotel at Düsseldorf’s prestigious Carlsplatz square never had any problems in terms of occupancy rates, which remained stable at 75% for years. Our professional Revenue Management introduced in 2015, however, boosted its occupancy rate to more than 85% throughout 2016. At the same time, its RevPAR also grew considerably by more than 20%. Thus, 2016 was the most successful year in the hotel’s history, which spans more than 30 years.
